This website is operated by Snackje B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) in Arnhem under number 86852035. Our official business address is Fotograaf 32, 6921 RR, Duiven, The Netherlands. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Snackje.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”), including those additional policies referenced herein.
SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission by us.
SECTION 3 – ACCURACY AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only.
SECTION 4 – MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, or discontinuance of the Service.
SECTION 4.1 – SPECIAL OFFERS AND DISCOUNT CODES
Special offers and discount codes do not stack. No discount will be applied to already discounted products. Only one discount code per order. Discount codes may be changed or terminated at any time without prior notice.
SECTION 4.2 – SHIPPING, CUSTOMS, AND DELIVERY
ORDER PROCESSING: All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is ready for dispatch.
DELIVERY TIMES: Typically 2–5 business days within the EU. Delivery to remote areas or non-EU destinations may take longer.
SHIPPING COSTS: Calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and chosen delivery method.
EU SHIPMENTS: All orders within the European Union are dispatched from our warehouse in the Netherlands. These are not subject to additional customs fees, duties, or customs-related delays.
NON-EU SHIPMENTS: Delivered under DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded) terms. Additional customs duties, import taxes, or fees may apply. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
CUSTOMS DELAYS: Customs clearance procedures may cause delays beyond estimated delivery times. Snackje B.V. is not liable for these regulatory holds. If your tracking shows a customs delay of more than 7 consecutive days, please contact us at hello@snackje.com.
RISK OF LOSS: The risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to you once the goods have been delivered to the address provided.
SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS, COMPLIANCE, AND RETURNS
FOOD COMPLIANCE: We sell imported food items. While we ensure all products meet EU safety standards, mandatory product information (allergens/ingredients) is provided based on the manufacturer’s data.
MINOR COSMETIC DAMAGE: Many of our products are imported from overseas and may arrive with minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small dents in cans or creases in outer packaging. As long as the airtight seal of the product remains intact and the food safety is not compromised, these items are not considered defective and are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: Consumers in the EU have the right to withdraw within 14 days of receipt. However, in accordance with Dutch law (Warenwet), sealed food products that have been unsealed or opened after delivery cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons. Perishable goods are also excluded from return (goods marked with a best before date).
NON-EU RETURNS: For orders shipped outside of the European Union, we do not accept returns or exchanges, except in cases where the product is defective or incorrect upon delivery.
CLAIMS: If you submit a complaint regarding damaged or non-conforming products, you must keep the products and all original packaging until the claim is closed. Claims must be initiated within 60 days of the order date.
SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information.
SECTION 7 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS
We may provide access to third-party tools or links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for examining the content or accuracy of these third-party materials.
SECTION 8 – PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 9 – PROHIBITED USES
You are prohibited from using the site or its content for any unlawful purpose, to infringe upon intellectual property rights, or to transmit malicious code.
SECTION 10 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Snackje B.V. provides the service "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Snackje shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or products.
SECTION 11 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
SECTION 12 – GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
